Dolce & Gabbana Fall Winter 2010/11 Menswear

YouTube Press Conference, January 18, 2010.

Celebrating 20 years in mens fashion, Dolce & Gabbana went back to their roots for their latest collection. “The collection is a return to our roots: Sicilian heritage, sensuality and sartorial clothing,” said Stefano Gabbana.

The collection was inspired by Baaria - Giuseppe Tornatore’s latest film (which is also projected at the show). The show featured 90 models who, at the end of the show, all walked the runway wearing knitted tank tops and trousers. Beautiful men in beautiful clothing. Thank you D&G!

ke$ha on Seacrest

As her smash debut, record-breaking single "Tik-Toc" rockets up the charts, Ke$ha chats with Ryan Seacrest about her mama, possible dad (?), and "waking up in the morning feeling like P.Diddy". If you were lucky enough to get tickets, enjoy the private Ke$ha party on January 17 at the Mod Club in Toronto.

Spring 2010 - Throwback to the '90s

A spring trend for men is a throwback to early '90s Americana television. Referencing Saved By The Bell (Screech), My So-Called Life (Ricky) and Blossom (Joey), to name but a few... It’s a washed-out, relaxed look; layered and loose with a touch of suburban grunge. Keep an eye out for washed-out pastels and chambray or stonewashed denim (with the occasional rip).

Mini Viva - I Wish

Pop duo Mini Viva is made up of members Britt Love and Frankee Connolly. They've been creating a frenzy overseas with their infectious grooves that have both pop purists and pop cynics screaming for more. Fab Cahill's remix of the new single "I Wish" is available now on iTunes. Also check out their first single "Left My Heart For Tokyo" (Geffen/Interscope Records).

Boyband bares all

The boys from UK boy band VICE (yep, looks like the boy band craze will be returning once again... is that a bad thing?) decided to bare all for GT (Gay Times) magazine in the January 2010 issue. They have their sights set on stealing the current title of top boy band (in the UK) from JLS, and it looks like they are headin' to the gays to accomplish this mission. We will definatley be keeping our eyes peeled for more photo opts from these boys.

Annie - Songs Remind Me Of You

Norway born Annie calls her sophomore album, Don't Stop, “pop with strange edges”. It's mainstream and underground, all at once. Here's the first video from the album (although the first single is Don't Stop)... can't wait to see what she does for I Don't Like Your Band (my personal fave).
